Step 1

Download Prism Launcher

Prism handles downloading all the mods and dependencies so you don't have to go digging through minecraft installation folders.

Step 2

Download the McColony modpack
or
Download McColony Potato
for less powerful computers (shaders removed)

Drag and drop into prism.

Or import in Prism under
Add Instance > Import

Step 3

Play

colony.mccully.org server only accepts whitelisted usernames
